In our mission to bring the troops home and ensure veterans receive the benefits they deserve, Iraq Veterans for Progress works to support federal candidates who share the same goals and raise public awareness about our mission. Public support is critical in the effort to gaining support on Captol Hill. Without the support of the people, we will accomplish nothing.

Once dismissed as a "radical" idea, the effort to change our National Defense policy is now gaining widespread support as people from all parts of the political spectrum come to see the mistakes that have been made and the resistence to change the course in Iraq and our greater current National Defense strategy. The voices of millions of dissatisfied Americans are beginning to be heard in Washington and our leaders are beginning to respond to public pressure, but there is still much work to do.
